Mariner is an incredible dog who has far exceeded our dreams. He was a Top 10 Golden in 2007 and 2009, and was the only Top 25 Golden in 2009 to sport field titles. Mariner also ranked in the Top 20 in 2010, earning his AKC Grand Championship in just a few weekends as well as winning multiple Specialty Shows. He is the FIRST Grand Champion Golden Retriever with Field titles and the ONLY Bronze Grand Champion Golden with Field Titles! Mariner has been invited to the Eukanuba AKC National Invitational Championship 4 times.
Mariner was also a Top 10 Golden in Canada in 2010 and finished as the #2 Golden in Canada in 2011. He also earned his Show Dog Hall of Fame title in Canada.
2012 will see us working on his titles in tracking, rally and obedience in our quest to earn the coveted VCX title. Earning this title will make Mariner one of less than 10 Goldens in history who have earned a Best in Show and a Versatility Excellent Certificate.
Cynthia and Schooner took first place in agility 20" at the Golden Retriever National Specialty in Gettysburg and she is currently training her dogs in Tracking.
When working with your dog, sheI use the same successful training techniques that she uses in competition training with her own dogs.
Cynthia works with each dog individually to show them how to be successful with their task -- all training is done in a positive manner that makes the dog happy to learn. Happy dogs love to please their owner and quickly learn the DogWatch system!

With three kids and four large active dogs we lead a busy lifestyle. I love being able to open the door and let the dogs enjoy the yard without having to watch them -- it's really great when the weather is bad.
